Just fax in your endorsement forms _now_ (but not later than August 25)

Thanks again to all the volunteers, like you, who put the Oregon 
Campaign Finance Reform measures on the November ballot.

    Measure 46 is the one-sentence amendment to the Oregon Constitution
    to allow  Oregonians to enact campaign finance limits for state and
    local political races.  It is necessary, because the Oregon Supreme
    Court in 1997 ruled that the existing Oregon Constitution does not
    allow any limits on political contributions.

    Measure 47 is the statute that would enact a comprehensive system of
    campaign finance reform for candidate elections, restoring the
    limits that we enacted in 1994 by a vote of over 72% "YES".

We are now preparing statements to appear in the Oregon Voters' 
Pamphlet, which is assembled by the Secretary of State and _is mailed 
directly to nearly 2 million Oregon registered voters_ in October.

We want to submit several more arguments and list in some of them 
endorsers of Measures 46 and 47, like you.  If you would like your name 
to appear in the Voters' Pamphlet as an endorser of Measures 46 and/or 
47, please complete and sign these forms:

Just print your name at the "I, _____" , print your name again inside 
the big oval, and then sign and date it.  If you represent an 
organization that endorses the measure, then you can also list the 
organization inside the big oval.

Then fax the completed forms to 503-296-2137 on the highest resolution 
you have.

We hope to fill up a few pages with names of endorsers.  Each half page 
is limited to 325 words and costs $500.  If you can help pay part of
